a couple or things (brakes + 02)

ok so im going to need some new pads and rotors in the next couple of months...any suggestions? i have stock right now and would like the brakes to grab a little better. i hear hawk pads and brembo rotors are good...right?

also, i have an 02 sensor code, but dnt have money to replace it right now. but my car needs to get inspected this month. so should i beg for a loan from someone or do you think ill pass with a 02 code(maybe)? Code is sensor 2 bank 2, high voltage.

pads, after using a ton of different ones, Hawks rank the best in my book (for daily driving). Rotors, you cant get better than stock but brembos match them, so if yours are damaged then get some brembos. if not, keep the stocks. only diff between rotors is longevity and resistance to warping/damage. wont affect stopping ability (assuming they dont get damaged.

Hawks and Brembo's are pretty nice. Better stopping power over stock. And NO! you won't pass with that code. Even if you clear it you have to drive i think 50 miles for the ECU to reset itself and run it's own dianostic that tells everything is working, but the CEL will come on before that not allowing you to pass.
