Problem with CustomMaxima/Enterprise/CE??

Hello all

I was just wondering if I'm the only one having problems with custommaxima.com or if you guys also experienced the same issues. Basically I'm wondering if I should go ahead and open a complaint with MasterCard or just wait some more... Here a copy of the chat script after I sent 3 unanswered emails:

Nick: Welcome to our live chat service. How may I help you today?
you: Order ##########
you: sent you a coupe of emails about it
Nick: Let me take a look
Nick: For the sway bar?

you: light bulbs were broken on arrival for the clear corners. Sway bar was charged on Nov. 20th, do you have a tracking number for it?
Nick: I am hoping to have a tracking number middle to end of this week.
you: but it's been shipped 2 weeks ago!
you: what about the bulbs?
you: can I get another set? - I'll send you the old broken ones if you want
Nick: I actually just checked to see if I had any spare bulbs and I was unable to find them.
you: that's great. And you're saying that you don't have a tracking number for the sway bar although it's been charged (and then shipped, according to your policy) two weeks ago?
Nick: Its looks like they were suppose to ship the day you were charged but it looks like there was a delay of some sort.
you: "a delay of some sort". Certainly was no delay in charging me for it. What would you do in my position Nick?
Nick: Well from what I am told this will be shipping by the middle of this week.
you: Ok. I'll wait until Thursday morning for a tracking number. If I don't hear from you guys by then, I'll open a complaint with Mastercard

Any feedback is welcome -

I bought my STS from them with no problem. I even got it at a great price just because I saw an old ad somewhere that showed it being a certain price for .org members that was no longer in effect. The guy told me that they get a lot of business from this site and gave it to me at that price. IIRC the shipping was pretty quick too.

IDK.. Maybe they are just going down the drain as of late?

I wouldn't buy from them just for the fact that the prices they have listed on their site are insane. For instance the 1 piece headlights from them are $279 not including shipping and on ebay I got mine for $230 shipped. I haven't found one thing on their site yet that isn't overpriced compared to other companies except their own stuff like their short shifter and test pipe.

I ordered from them, prompt confirmation email and shipping confirmation with tracking number. Arrived shortly with everything perfect...hopefully these aren't ongoing things?

yup your not the only person that has had problems with custom enterprise. i ordered my suspension from them August 5 or something like that...i was waiting til around september 10th for my order that had 'already been shipped'. I ended up cancelling with them and ordered from a different company and got my struts and springs within 3 days.

I haven't had any problems with them either. I've only ordered 2 item thought. CE type II wing and their red/clear taillights.
The box from the wing was basically destroyed, but the wing arrived in pristine shape. The tails were fine all the way around.

When I ordered the wing, I paypaled them. They informed me right away that it was out of stock and within the week, I had a confirmation number via ups.

Maybe I'm just lucky?

I bought a Fidanza from them on eBay for my 92 SE. It should have been an 8-bolt. They sent me the right box but with a 6-bolt (SOHC) flywheel. I called and they ran numbers and we came to the conclusion, however they more or less said it was Fidanza's problem and not theirs, and besides they were using eBay to clear old slow moving parts off the shelf. I wanted nothing more but to exchange it for the correct part. I called Fidanza and they went through the roof because one of the agreements is that the retailer does not sell their product on eBay. Fidanza said they would be giving CE a call etc. because they were pissed. Anyway neither party came through for me and I wound up selling the flywheel and purchasing the correct one. I put more blame on CE because they were the retailer and the retailer should have taken care of their customer at the first point of contact and not running me in circles wasting phone calls and such. They would not have had a problem reselling the wrong part because it is a lot more common than what I needed. They handled this very poorly.
