Why is my clutch whinning?

Ever since it's gotten fairly cold outside i've been getting a strange whinning sound when engaging 1st gear or reverse. This is only in those 2 gears and only when engaging.

2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th gears are fine and don't make a single sound. The sound isn't always there but 80% of the time. If i hold the clutch a little longer after it catches (different situations require different methods of driving in NY) it'll make the sound. Meaning if i "burn" the clutch for like an extra 5 seconds you'll hear the whine very distinctly.

When i reverse it'll make the sound. Everytime i try and mimic the sound the my Mechanic i can't, i always seem to drive super perfectly when trying to show the problem (i hate when that **** happenes). I replaced my Clutch with a 5th gen clutch, TOB, PP and put in a SS clutch line, and for the love of anything good i can't pinpoint the problem.

Theres no sound with the clutch engaged or w/o out. It only happenes when catching 1st and reverse. This is really bothering me. What can this be? I don't even have 10k on the new clutch, I babied it for awhile before i went WOT, it doesn't slip, i never smell burnt clutch, the fluid in the Tranny is Amsoil 75w90. I checked and the fluid is up to the Max line and nothing seems to be leaking. I also changed my rear main seal along with everything and every oil seal associated with motor and tranny. I'm stomped! HELP!

clutch throwout bearing makes a funny noise when you engage and disengage clutch, not when you change gears right?

I had this whine before I put a new clutch kit it in a month ago. Someone told be that it was because the clutch plates had got glazed from overheating and its not a big deal as long as it it's not slipping. I think I did overheat it a couple of times trying to lounch with a hand break ingaged. It was my first manual car.

I had a bad whine in 1st gear, and some in reverse. my input shaft bearing was going out, plus my input shaft was grinding, I had really loud whining in 1st. no so much in 2nd. a new tranny was needed.
