Exedy clutch?

Exedy clutch?

well im finally going to get my clutch change this weekend, i was lookin for a 5th gen clutch.. and i was lookin on ebay, for some clutchs. and i saw this one.. stating that it fits all maxima's from 86-01? iis this true? and is this consider'd as the same as a 5th gen clutch???

Yup that's pretty much it; except you don't want an exedy throwout bearing.

the exedy stage 1 comparable to the 5th gen clutch not the oe replacement.

When I ordered an OE 5th gen from Performance Nissa, I got an exedy plate...

Keep in mind that is the equivalent of a Stage 0 OEM-replacement clutch (not so good). It is not an Exedy Stage 1 (good). I'd go with a stage 1 or a 5th gen if you're not planning on boosting or swapping engines any time soon.

My exedy clutch came with an SKF brand throwout bearing. It's not crap at all.

I was talking about the exedy clutch he linked. If you read it, it says its an oe replacement clutch which is not comparable to the 5th gen clutch. The stage 1 exedy is comparable to a 5th gen oem clutch. I also changed a 5th gen clutch and it said exedy on it looked identical to the stage 1 exedy I put in.
