Very strange engine behavior,

edit> Is there any term used to describe this behavior?
Today I was driving in stop & go traffic and mostly just release brake padel to move (car has auto). Suddenly the rpm jumps to 1500 and then comes back to 1000, then car had a jerk, rpm jumps up again to 1500, and this cycle, 1000rpm - jerk - 1500 rpm-1000rpm continues till i reach home.

i have no idea what happend and what could cause this stupid behavior,
Can any one please tell me what could be the problem.

My car has 4 codes 0325, 1400 (1005), 1705 & One code for TPS (I forgot the number)

If the TPS went bad all the sudden that could certainly explain it. Check connections and check the TPS. If you don't have a haynes maunal I suggest you get one. Also it could be that the TPS is failing due to heat, which may mean that it checks out fine when it's cold, but craps out again as soon as you take it out and sit for a while. So make sure the car is fully warmed up when you test it.

Thanks. I will get a hayes manual soon.
TPS is fairly new I changed it like 1 month back. But I have not explictly adjusted it just aligned holes in center.

Is there anything other than tps which impacts engine rpm?
