Clutch recommendations

i need to replace my clutch badly. i can no longer stand slippage over acceleration. just curious to know what you guys would recommend for a clutch. i do not want anything too crazy like a stage 2 or stage 3 racing as i have to need for that setup. i do have headers, y-pipe, high flow cat, and cat back. should i stick with stock? 5th gen? any recommendations? and also where would be the best place to get the clutch? i will be doing install myself

5th gen clutch, PP, TOB, and SS clutch line. Much better over stock and will work perfectly with your set-up. Plus the clutch is a known name brand, made by Exedy and it's the same as the Exedy Stage 1 clutch.

make sure it's genuine and not key value. It should say Made in Japan and Exedy on it.

Not sure with the clutch line as I didn't do that but when I got my 5thgen clutch, pp, and tob it came to a little under 200.

Also, I don't know if you change your tranny fluid yourself but if you don't or haven't you will need to get tranny oil, specifically GL-4 tranny oil which seems to very rarely be available in stores so you will probably have to order it.

I bought Redline MT-90 from myoilshop.com

Two questions:
1. 99SE5Speed, where are you getting your information about the 5th gen OEM clutch being the same as the Exedy Stage 1? My research shows the pressure plate clamping force to be different.
2. Swazey, where'd you find it for $220?
