starter ground

just wondering which bolt you guys use to ground the starter. I was about to just pick a random bolt but then i realized that the started gets a separate line to the positive battery terminal and i dont feel like messing up and getting shocked.

so if anyone has a detailed description or pics i would greatly appreciate it.

thanks in advance.

Are you talking about a permenant connection or a temporary ground for some reason. If permenant, what's wrong with the original ground connection on the front manifold area?

the starter grounds through the bellhousing. clean up the areas where it sits before putting it back on. (if you took it off) and make sure your grounds going to the engine and tranny are good.

i think he means adding an additional ground. some other memebers (including myself) have that starting problem that seems to be fixed by adding an extra ground to the starter. I believe you are supposed to use one of the 2 bolts that run into the bell housing. The other end, I dont know if people chassis grounded it or if they grounded it directly to the battery. I havent gotten around to doing mine yet.
