Brake problem

Hi, I installed new Brembo rotors (plain) and PBR Ultimate brake pads on all the wheels a week ago. I drove it for about 300 miles already, trying to break it in at various speeds. Today I've experienced a slight squeak only after I let off the brake pedal slightly. It will only happen when it is pushed and released off the brake pedal. I've noticed on the front passenger side of the brake pad it is missing a "clip"? I am not sure what's the clip is for, but it's not there compare to the driver's side. I am also having grinding noise when pulling out at that pressure to the brake pedals. Anyone know what's wrong or is this normal?

i think the clip you reffering to is shims. i believe the pad goes top of that thing and if its not there thats not a problem maybe mechanic might have cut that clip off. the squeaking sound is normal because of new pads material. the noise will go away after few weeks of driving. when i had new pads installed it took over 600k for that sound to disapear.
