EBAY Suspension:TRASH!?!?

A couple months ago I bought a set of KYB AGX's off of EBAY. I was in desparate need of suspension mainly the rear. After the install (Shout out to the HOW TO Section) the car drove like it was fresh out the factory.
Well here we are two months later and I'm back to bouncin around . Did I do something wrong or do I need to break out the Vaseline .

bump stops? lowered springs? which seller? I dont know about the AGX but i know the gr-2's soften up shortly after installation. not a ton but noticeable. not sure if there is a way to find out, but production date of the struts? New in box can mean unused but very old.

i think there is something about how the AGXs get much firmer in cold weather. that is a big reason i went with Illuminas.

GR-2's (My Bad).In boxes. Factory springs. No new bushings. Can't remember seller off hand, (I'll let you know though) they had a positive seller rating though.
If they soften this much I would have kept my old ones.

well "bouncy" comes in different flavors. If you get a lot of travel when you bounce there is a problem. If it is a hard short bounce (like you are on a really tight short spring) welcome to the world of GR-2s. As the other poster said, it gets mroe noticeable during the cold. Definately not a smooth quality ride like OEM or Tokico HP (in my opinion). unless you do a ton of driving i wouldnt expect the gr-2s to have softened up much yet.

Did you replace them yourself or had a shop do it?

See if any of them are leaking. They should still be under warranty.

If you had searched or done some research, you would have seen that GR2's aren't highly recommended. Most people that have them tend to agree they have several faults.

i have a set of Eibachs ground controls and they were normal, but since its gotten cold out my car bounces a lot more. The weather is making them stiffer thats all. Welcome to the world of a lowered ride or new set up anyways.

my car is lowered 4 inches so it bounces anyways, but i noticed a lot more since the temp change.
