I'm a pretty avid mtn biker, and I use the trunk mounted bike rack on my Max, and now I think one of the hinges is coming loose. Are they located under the rear deck somewhere, and how can I get the deck off? Also, how do you go about adjusting the latch? I have quite a bit of play in it. Sorry if it's been asked before, but I can't search.

 

there are two screws holding the latch, on the car itself not the trunk door. loosen those and move the latch downward and align it correctly.
