245 is generally the biggest you can go on a maxima, but with enough weight in the car you can definitely rub 245's. 235 is safer, but 245 might work if you have a stiff enough suspension and don't carry too much crap or too many passengers.

245/40/18 fit fine on my maxima..

when i was running 295/35/19 in the back i had a some rubbing with the inner fenders.

295!!!! That's huge!! I ride on 245/45/19's...and no rub.....so 245's on 18's should be no problem.

Wheel Size and Offset

1fstmax,

You have a sweet max! If you don't mind, what are the widths and offsets that you are using? I always like the wide flush look and yours looks outstanding. I am looking for something with more meat for my max and I don't mind having to roll the fenders, so your help will be greatly appreciated.
