Check engine code 0504 and 0104

0504 is Automatic Transmission Control Unit Signal to ECU

0104 is Vehicle Speed Sensor

How do I fix that?

Is it a big problem?

Do i need a new TCU?

HELP.

This might be a stupid question, but how do you know the code when your check engine light comes on??
