axle seal install
hey guys,
I've been trying to put this damn axle seal in for a day and its pissing me off. Ive screwed up 2 already and its getting irritating. Its the passenger side and I've been trying to tap that **** in patiently and its definitely a PITA. Let me know what's your technique and tools to put it in...
thanx in advance

My trick is use a LARGE Socket that fits around the Gasket and slightly tap with a hammer to get it in but without a lift your going to have a hard time getting them perfect.
I tried doing it on jackstands once and got fed up. They kept ripping on me

I used a pvc pipe from home depot perfect enough to go against the seal...I either knocked it all the way in which resulted in a mesed up seal or not enough force of the hammer to the pipe...Ive already tried tapping it in like a star pattern like changing a tire...very frustrating.I need a fawking lift...Ive rather install a supercharger.
