Need some new headlight bulbs.. Anyone using Luminics Ultra/Hyper White 9004 bulbs? Thoughts? Think it's as good or better than oem light output?

i am using a pair of Silverstar Sylvania light bulbs, these are burning at 4100Kalvin and are super bright WHITE light. they are a lot brighter and a lot more directional than oem lights, they are not blue which is GOOD, easy on the eyes because they don't change the colours of objects

trust me get something like that but ONLY made by PHILLIPS (made in germany) or SYLVANIA (made in USA), other brands are korean or taiwanese made and burn out way too quickly because the gas mixture inside the bulbs is not 100% exact

my Sylvanias have a 1 year warranty on them too!

No way are tinted bulbs better in output than the stock bulbs. HIDs are probably the best besides OEM.

thats why i got the white sylvanias. stock bulbs opretate at a lower temperature and produce less hear and less light than superbright bulbs do, they are better then stock

I have the hyper yellow luminics fog light bulbs in my fogs and they have better output than most other bulbs. This mostly comes from the color tho. They are pretty reliable too.

if you are gonna go with the silverstars, get the ultra`s, if you get them before the end of the month they have a $10 rebate on a pair on sylvania`s website.

I think im going to pick up a pair of them tomorrow.

Like he says, you have been warned. The silverstars don't perform well in the poor conditions at night. Keep that in mind if you actually want to see at night.
My recommendation is Sylvania XtraVisions. I had those before I got HID's and they were great for the price. I must say, HID's have shown me a whole new way of seeing.

Xtravisions are just one notch better than OEM
check this out :

http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...on/default.htm

it goes Standard halogen (OEM)
then Xtravision
Cool Blue
Silverstar high performance (9004 ST/2)
and lastly Silverstar Ultra (9004 SU/2

i got the HP ones for 39.97 but i think ill refund them and get the Ultras for just 10 dollars more tomorrow morning, i want the best lights i can get for a reasonable price
