front bumper removal

so ive gotten in a situation where i have to remove the front bumper to install my fogs. ive been lookin around for a write up or set of instructions but to no avail. at a quick glance i only see about 6 bolts connecting it to the fenders, a few to the grill and possibly some to the lights....if anyone can help me out id appeciate it, thanks.

You pretty much mentioned it all. In no particular order... You have to take off the grille, 3 nuts on each side the go from a bracket on the bumper into the fenders, the bolts along the top of the bumper and also the bolts along the bottom and it will pretty much pull off. It really won't take long the only hard part to me was getting the upper most nut on each side especially the passenger side for some reason.

EDIT.....

I just read you are installing fogs, you can put them in without taking off the bumper, I just did it the other day. I also though I would have to take off my bumper, but if you put the brackets in from behind and underneath the bumper you can bolt them in and then set the fogs after that. You just need to remove the shielding along the front bottom of the bumper.

thats what i thought so too except it turns out there were no holes to mount the bracket so i have to drill them myself & for that i need to remove the bumper

ill try to remove it tomorow and hopefully everything goes as easily as you mentioned

Ohhh that kinda sucks. I just converted to 97-99 and had foglights so I had the holes. It isn't hard to take off at all so you shouldn't have a problem.

well like i said, there were NO holes so i did my best to line them up where they should be....the end result was that they're not 100% flush w/ the bumper but its not too noticeable...

btw it was a b!tch to take the bumper off...

It really isn't that hard to take off. Maybe the first time is a little difficult but after that it should be easy.
