timing chain tensioner + guide
so after searching and reading up on this, it looks like most people don't use the updated/matching guide with the new tensioner. Im considering pulling the outer timing chain cover to replace the guide along with the tensioner but am unsure about the process of removing the cover.
According to the FSM, the oil pan has to be removed.. after looking at the setup, I dont see why. Can anyone confirm this? My lower radiator support is so badly deteriorated (rust), I dont think the bolts that hold the brace under the oil pan will come out clean/ without damage.
