Starter problem....changed teh starter already

So one day my starter dies. Ok, no big problem, i go get another one. Bam it started. But after a while, it starts to get crazy on me. crank crank crank boom, sounds like the engine is misfiring. Now it does it randomly, doesn't matter on the temp outside, sometimes when it's cold it'll still start right up. Even if its warmer it still do the crank crank crank boom crank crank crank boom n putt putt putt. Now i thought it was the starter itself since it was a re manufactured starter, i went back to pep-boys and exchanged a starter. In the beginning it was great just like the old one, and then 2 days later started to do the same thing. This time i had them bench test it before i took it home.

No codes except evap which i can't get rid of.
Changed alternator around in march.
Changed spark plugs in may-june with NGK platinum sparks.
Changed fuel filter not too long ago. Air box is clean.
I'm not loosing power so i don't think its the coilpacks.
not loosing gas mileage so i don't think tis the fuel injectors. Just don't know what it is. everything was fine until the starter went and i had to change it.
Should i change the oil again???? did it not too long ago tho.

I was just wondering, do i have to like grease the starter before i put it in?? seems like the teeth are wrong but i don't think i can align it. I know that the starter goes to the flywheel and turns that, but it just seems weird as to how the engine starts. Hope this isn't a big problem. Gonna buy some new spark plugs right now and hopefully it'll fix the problem.

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!
