Mysteriously turned off...
Ok, was slowing down to make a turn, slowed to about... 5-10 mph, and the car just kinda died on me.
not sure y or how, but had to restart to get moving. i parked up and turned the car off for a good hour or two. when i tried to get going again, the idle would go stable for a good 10-15 seconds... and then drop to 0. wat could be da problem?
.. any ideas people?... thanks

kinda sounds like the airbox/maf problem. If the hoses aren't properly connected/getting air, it could cause that problem, but it would die quicker than that. maybe just go under the hood to see if your airbox is clean or not
hmm... fuel filter changed in august... (car was parked up from mid nov til mid jan)... air filter iz clean (short ram)... car has all the vaccum hoses connected, air hoses in as well... would i be able to check the sensors on a scanner?
n yeah... if i rev the engine up to 2 rpmz before it dies... then itz fine again... only happens once in a while... jus curious as to y.... thanks for ur input so far guyz

maf would throw a code. if your alternator crapped the bed it wouldnt beable to charge the battery while driving therefore making the car shut off. you should beable to start the car and run it for a minute if you have a dead alt, as long as the battery still has enough charge left in it.
