Auto vs. 5 spd. Shifter console

Undergoing a 5 spd. swap. Would the console around the shifter from an auto work with a manual shifter? The manuals seem to be a bit wider.

It will, but i don't think it has the clips for the shifter boot.

+1 on it working... i have a manual and am using an auto trim piece because my old one was broken, and i got this one cheap. you have to rig up some way to keep the shift boot there, though.

Dear gunny11218,

For many years this forum has served to provide Maxima enthusias worldwide with insite, information, inspiration, and at times comedy. This is one of the times for comedy!!!! Since you are new here I shall introduce you to the FLAME response Let me first start by saying welcome . Judging by your recent post your real name must be automatic.

See, its as simple as that. this is just a small example of the ridicule you will face if you continue to post incoherent and usless random strings of words that seem to flow from your vasaline covered fingertips to your "laptop".

In the future, think before you post here.
