I am a noob...

I am a noob to the website and to maxima's and just had a few questions...

Can someone please point me in the direction of buying a y-pipe and a camber kit and does anyone have an idea of where i should go to get my car aligned? The previous owner of the car installed k sport suspension and never got it aligned, any ideas of where to go? Also don't some places offer like lifetime alignment?

Check out ebay for y pipes and I think there is a deal going on now for Budget too (couldn't find the thread).

Firestone has the lifetime alignment for about $120. A good idea if you plan on keeping the car as well as changing the suspension around. It will be well worth it.

go to any mechanic shop, but just make sure that u watch them when they do the alignment, because sometimes they try to rip u off by telling u they did it but don't... and as for a y pipe, ur best bet is with Budget its the cheapest, but also has the same quality and gains as all the other brands...

Ebay has decent deals on the warpspeed stuff, also watch the 4th gen parts, they have good deals on y-pipes in there often.

Don't buy from stillen. What a waste of money. Budget y pipe which is the lssexhaust link below. Best y pipe besides cattman (in many eyes on here). If you have the money lay it down on the cattman y.

Not true. Cattman is better quality than budget and has a different effect on sound. It is mostly brand name but there is a reason it costs more.

i had my car aligned at firestone when it was stock. after i put the new suspension on and went back to them for an alignment, they said that dropping it voided my lifetime warranty. so you may want to consider that unless things are different up there.

In the case of Stillen, yes, because they're greedy bastards.

A guy told me that even if you get the camber kit, the alignment will never be perfect...something about the front wheels aren't perfectly straight, but pointed very slightly inward on my 97 maxima. He told me not to bother wasting money on it.
