Opinion really...

Hello all, I am looking into getting a suspension setup for my car with my refund check. I did some searching/research and I think that I narrowed it down to just a few choices. Im just looking for some insight from all of you who have had experience with what I narrowed my selection down to, so that I can be steered in the right direction and be happy.

I'm looking for a little more agressive/lowered look, with a sportier ride than stock. However, I dont want to be feeling every single little bump and be thrown from my seat when I drive around up at school and Philly and whatnot. I do, however, want to be able to have a little more control through corners with less body roll. If I decide to keep the set I have, then I will be bolting on a set of 06 Maxima SE wheels (18x7.5) this summer, so that is something I need to think about as well.

Through my searching on the ORG I have narrowed my choices to:
----Eibach PRO-KIT with Tokico Illuminas
OR
----Eibach SPORTLINE KIT with Tokico Illuminas
OR
----Progress with Tokico Illuminas

Hopefully I have described well enough what I want in an aftermarket suspension setup on my Max. So if you guys and gals want to shoot some insight my way about these options then PLEASE do....and thank you of course....

Tony

so I've got one for Progress......Maybe I should have made this a poll..............

ethnic6--I didnt see anything about Koni's, so thats why I didnt make them an option, but if anybody can back this up about the Koni's then I will have to think about them.

Thanks, keep em coming.....

Don't worry, everyone will say something different.

"I want to go alittle lower and sportier without having reduced ride quality"

The good news is, if you search more this question has been asked 50-60 times within the past year or so.

Well if you searched you would have come up with koni a lot and would have known the name. Also, Eibach wouldn't really be a top choice....

tokico and illuminas, or coilovers and konis

Tein H-Tech and Illuminas FTW.

You get one pass through here and then I lock the thread. There are 3-4 threads that say the exact same thing in the first few pages of the subforum.

I'm sorry but for performance its Pro-kit/ Koni.. That or Koni/ GC, if you wanna shorten them up a bit and call it best. You guys know this, it's not even a debate issue. Then comes Progress and I wouldn't even consider Sportlines.

Talk to JSutter, he has archives showing that Koni walks every other production strut for our car. He also has first hand experience with the Koni/ GC setup.
