i got my 98 in 2002 with 36xxx miles. she just hit 175,000 today.

 

95 gxe, got with 105k, in 2/04. Now at 192k

24k miles/year. Long distance relationships take a toll on the car. Can't wait to save up and sell for something more enjoyable... hate getting burned by Mazda 3's. Anyways, 191k total.

Almost to 113,000 on my 1997 SE. It's been an excellent car, no problems except a new starter in the six years I've had it.

96 max. bought it 7 months ago at 113,000 now at 123,000 speed sensor jumps, new starter, new suspension, new tires on used s13 rims, want to go manual though... and want my exterior in BLACK!!

Motor and trans strong.
Had Collant leak , most likely water pump and CV boots ripped during last cold spell. Needed struts.

I have no doubt I could have put another 100,000 on it.

i bought my car in '99 new and have put 95k on it, so about normal for U.S. (12k/year)

 

I read 143,000 yestorday. And going strong. Actually somedays for some reason when I push the gas paddle it goes easier then usual and speeds up much quicker (like it's a nascar or something). I don't know why this happends but I also noticed at those times it eats my gas like crazy...

 

I bought mine almost 7 years ago with 32k miles. It now has 112k miles on it. I had an extended warranty on it, so I got Nissan to replace all the stuff that were going or looked like it might go in the future, 5spd transmission, main seal, starter, CV boots (twice), clutch, radiator, ect.

 

I have a 99 SE Limited with 40,000 miles. I think that is a pretty low number?? It still smells new inside the car.

 

my mom's 95GXE has about 38,000MI on it, everything original... and runs strong no check engine light, only the paint is chipping because its always outside .. My 01 is having more problems than that car has :P..

 

Bought mine at 97,000, now it has 221K (97 GLE auto). Replaced: battery, alternator, starter, 2 ignition coils, AC compressor, knock sensor, steering gear(leak), steering pump (leak), both CV axles. All replacements within 6- year span, almost all repairs were DIY, so i invested maybe $2K or so in repairs so far.
Belts every 60K, did not wait for them to fail, just considered them as part of maintenance.
Original engine and transmission. properly maintained, conventional 10W30 oil only, conventional trans fluid only, no additives or anything,no synthetics, conventional everything. Does not burn oil, no power loss, fast response, drives like new. Major brake job at about 210K, all new-all 4 calipers, rotors, ceramic pads, brake system flush and fill, just like doc prescribed.
The car has mostly highway miles though, no bumper-to-bumper traffic, garage kept.
Pros:Maximas are very close to Mercedes or Volvo in sense of craftmanship, this particular V6 engine is one of the best engines ever made in automobile history.
Cons: Maxima is no longer an affordable car, if you buy it brand new plus in my oppinion newer models are not as reliable as those made in late 90's or early 00's.

 

98, 135000 miles. Bought it with 21k miles on it. Love it. Runs great.

I bought my 98 Max 3 years next month with 35,000 miles, I'm sitting at 93,000 miles now..

 

my friend has a 98 max se brought it 4 years back, only 16,710 miles!! This car is cleanest max you'll ever see! the engine is SPOTLESS! like its brand new!

 

98 gle bought it with 20k, now it has 50,632 miles

 

I have a 95 SE with manual, bose, cloth interior, manual climate control.

I bought it in 2001 for about $8k and it had 100k miles on it. It has 250k miles now.
