Looking for software

i reciently spoke with a friend that programs ECU's and he informed me that i needed to get a program or software in order to chip my ecu and utilize the fuel curve....if anyone out there has this software or a program that i can look for to purchase please advise

i dont think thats true? i was looking into gettin a chip and all you do is send your ECU in, pay $500, they reprogram it and send it back within 3-4days.

8-12 weeks more like it...if you're lucky

The cookie cutter method is anyhow.

well on the APR website it says 3-4 days and the chip only costs $500 to have done. i was looking at it for an A4 not maxima...and ive talked to people who have their car chipped and they said the same thing. i wouldnt even consider chipping a max.

Why you would spen $500 on a chip blows my mind. Buy a V-afc and a WB02 for that price. And you can utilize much more than the fuel curve...Can't wait to save up for them both and get my 00vi really running. Just gotta figure out how to wire it all up correctly.
