Oil pressure Gauge

Does anybody know how to hook up an oil pressure gauge to our 4th gens-- forgive me for asking a dumb question but I've tried wiring it to the oil pressure sending unit but it doesnt seem to work. The power wires for the oil pressure seem to be working; the needle moves once the ignition is turned on. Anyone??

Mechanical or electric gauge?
Does the needle peg at full with the ignition on and stay there? Ground issue

The oil pressure switch doesn't provide anything but a signal when oil pressure drops below 5psi, IIRC. You need a sender for the gauge.

Surely he's not trying to just wire it to the stock sensor

my bad... I figured I could use the stock sensor..
Where can I get a sender?
I got this gauge for free so I'm not sure if its missing anything.
BTW, its electrical

What about the A/F gauge?
Can that just be connected to the rear O2 sensor. I know it would not be accurate right now, but I plan on getting a Wideband O2 sensor in the future.
I just want them to read something for now...I made a custom pod inside the center console and I have both gauges lit up, but not functional.

Should be able to get a sender from autometer.. try summit, jegs, ebay
Even with a WB02 sensor the gauge won't be accurate, would need a wideband gauge also. But yeah if you want the useless pretty light show it'll wire up to the stock rear 02
