side view mirrors

I noticed that some beemers and some vw's have those blueish tint to thier side view mirror, do any of you have it? I think it looks kinda cool.

My old Volvo had tinted side mirrors. It was there to cut down on reflected glare. AFAIK, this was not an option on any 4th gen Maximas.

my friend has a bmw 318 and i always wondered what was up with that.... i think it's a pretty good idea, but no other glass on his car has that bluish color at all and his car is silver so it kinda looks peciular....... and i've never heard of any like 'side mirror tint' or anything like that for other cars... has anyone??
