RE: Dressing Up Engine

The best way to dress up and engine compartment is painting it. But I would take it to a professional because you have to take the parts of the engine you want to paint out of the engine bay. You could also get a professional to chrome the engine, but that would be VEY expensive. Most people get pros to help them and their engines run fine after they are done. Of couse, you can also but cheap dress up parts like battery tire downs, billet oil caps, and colored hoses, but they only do so much and you'll probably end up getting the engine painted. Just trying to help.

Where do you go for stuff like that? I would like to blue all of the hoses and paint a couple things.

I know you can get the vacuum hoses through stillen, but their service stinks, try a local sport shop or a nissan dealer, they can get hoses and paint for you.

I detail cars at regal nissan and all we do to engines to make them look good is..... run the car for a good 15 minutes.. let the engine get warm.. cover up the intake if you have an aftermarket, spray the whole engine compartment with a pressure washer... put degreaser ALL OVER your engine.. i mean TONS of degreaser.... let sit for 2 minutes or so.. then pressure wash it off..
