Kinda, but when I hop on the Garden State Parkway on Ramp 131, I usually have a few travelers behind me trying to get on the Parkway North behind me. Because of the hard right turn before getting on the main road, I lay back to negotiate the hard right turn in the entrance ramp going on to the main road at about 35 MPH. If conditions permit and I see light traffic coming in the right lane and second lane, I gradually gun the engine (while still in overdrive) and accelerate up to the speed of traffic (usually 60-65 MPH) in about 6-7 seconds. The transmission hesitates at first but once it kicks out of O/D, it takes off like a scalded cat. I just enjoy this rush to start my day. After I settle into the second lane, I cool down and drive responsibly after the guys behind me who were behind me coming onto the Parkway eventually pass me. By the way, the Northbound Parkway entrance at 131 enters the main road going uphill. Such a wonder I feel so good sometimes. Me and my Max97, forever. They say the 97 standard Max GXE can go 0 to 60 in 6.5 seconds on a straight road. Any truth to this?
