o2 sensor simulator question

Do o2 sensor simulators affect gas mileage at all?

No. The O2 sim can only be installed only in replacement of the after cat O2 sensor. The ECM does not use the signal from the after cat o2 sensor as a parameter for managing the engine (fuel injection and spark plug firing timing).

Bumping this up with another question. I just removed my rear O2 sensor because it was in the way of my new subframe connector cross-bracing. I would like to use an O2 simulator instead of paying to have a new bung welded in another place, but all the simulators I've found seem to work with the O2 sensor itself still in place. My question is, are there any O2 simulators that I can plug or splice into the stock harness without the sensor in the car?

Where would you guys suggest that I get an O2 sensor sim? I have needed one for awhile and haven't started looking yet.
