Need Help On A Size....

whats the biggest size tire we can run in the front without there being any rubbing?Right now iam running 245 35 18s falkens.I need a stickyer tire so iam prob goin to go with some Pzeros or some nittos but i just wanted to know what the most we can get under there.Plus iam also droped if that plays a factor in it.

Yes it plays a factor...how much are you dropped? How much room do you have to spare with the 245s?

i got some room to play with because the whole front of my car is cf.....i prob have a few inches to play with...i was thinkin about stickin like a 255-275 under there just want to know if its fits without a problem.

are you factoring in rolling fenders? you might be able to fit wider if you roll you fenders.

may I ask why you want such wide wheels/tires?

depending on what you mean i dont know if i would be able to do that since i have cf fenders on the car....

Oh with your CF fenders you may not be able to.

Wow traction issues with 18's!!

maybe you just need a stickier tire than the falkens, some yokohamas, or Toyos.

But if you have coil overs you could raise the car some, to give more clearance for wider tires. If anything find someone with say a 255 tire, and measure the width, then use that number and a measuring tape to help give you an idea of what you may run into.

you can go as wide as you want with a crappy tire and still not get the same traction you would with a top end tire that is skinnier. wider is not always better. it's all about the tire compound and rubber.

so what would say like a 255 p zero tire i think if one of the stickyest ones if iam not mistaken...?
