Knock and O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Help!!!

Need a little help.

I just recently got the dreaded P0325 code which is a dead knock sensor, but I also am getting the code P0135 which is the O2 Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 1). Are the two codes related and do they both need to be replaced? What O2 sensors would I need to order from this site if they need to be replaced. I have a cali spec 99 maxima GXE.

Would this be caused by the budget Y pipe I have in and the greddy exhaust or is it really just the age of the car that is the culprit? I do have 90k miles on it.

a KS code can aid in producing an o2 sensor code. Change the KS reset the ecu and see if the cel comes back for the o2 sensor.

Thanks for the reply, I will order the part and replace it to see what happens. And if the o2 sensor heater circuit is bad and I need to replace it do you know which sensors on that page I would need to replace for a cali spec max?

Did you have that same error code that I did? If so which O2 sensor would I need to order and how difficult is it to replace the one in the front?

Really I am just confused on what sensor I need to order (part number) for the front. Also would the car being at 90K miles would you just replace both knock sensors that are in the front for the hell of it? If so what are the part numbers so I can know for ordering. Thanks in advance.

I would only replace the senesor that is throw a code, the other one must be functioning properly other wise you'd have a code for that also.

the front o2 are actually the same, the only difference is the o2 sensor closest to the firewall, the cables are a bit longer than the front. besides that they are the same.

If I could remember which bank 1 goes with which sensor I could tell you which one you need to order, but I keep forgetting and my FSM is at home.

Theres only one knock sensor. If you meant o2 sensor, no, don't replace it if it's not putting a cel out unless you like spending money.

Bank 1 Sensor 1 is near the end of the y-pipe closest to the cat. the connector is to the left of the rear spark plugs closest to the cabin. As far as how easy it is, it is really very simple the hardest part for me was unsnapping the plastic plugs holding the wire and that wasnt hard.

Oops meant o2 sensor, so if they are the same for the front would anyone know what the part number is? I am on oxygensensor.com but they seem to have tons to choose from, just not sure which is the best choice. To be on the safe side I want to do the knock sensor as well.
