VQ30DEK Swap - Drilling 00VI

OK...I'm in the middle of putting everything back together while doing a DEK swap. here's my setup

00 upper manifold
00 throttle body
4th gen rail injectors
4th gen LIM (lower intake manifold)
4th gen IACV

I've hit a problem. the LIM is drilled so the the 4 middle bolts line up with no problem. but the 4 holes on the outside are not lining up

i've been told to drill the 00VI to line up with the LIM on the ends, but a nissan tech said that the 00VI is hollow at some points. does anyone know how safe it is to drill the 00VI, and which parts are hollow and parts aren't.

Yeah, you need to drill between those outer holes. You'll be fine, there is nothing to seal there.
