left headlight socket keeps freaken burning out

left headlight socket keeps freaken burning out

yeh, i just have one those white xenon aftermarket headlightbulbs and the left headlight keeps going out. the headlight socket keeps burning out.

is it b/c of a short or something?

should i increase the amperage?

What is the wattage of the bulbs? Sometimes when you go with those bulbs that advertise 100 watts it messes up your wires b/c its only supposed to be for 45 or something along those lines.

Get a new socket, put a normal bulb in there, and see if that fixes it.

put a normal bulb in there and don't touch the bulb with your fingers or hand.
