Violent shaking below 2500 rpms.
I drove pretty fast on the highway on friday.Turned off the car and left for 2 days. I come back, start it up, and it's shaking. The shaking is violent, but the idle is absolutely stable. I try driving it in 1st-5th...each one has violent shaking below 2500 rpms. I pulled codes
Intake Air Temp Sensor 0401
Multiple Cylinder Misfire 0701
I figured it would be MAF sensor..but that's a different code. Anyone have any ideas?

first i'd suggest changing the spark plugs anyways and also use fuel injector cleaner for a couple tanks to see if that will clear anything up. if that doesnt do anything, i would get a multimeter and check each one (coilpack and injector) to see if it's putting out the same amount of resistance. for the 3 rear injectors, removal of the intake manifold needs to be done.
good luck! i know i had fun when i was misfiring...

Yeah my dad had the plugs and injectors replaced before he fixed his misfire. If I were you I would start by....
1. Change the plugs
2. Test each coil (if bad change)
3. Change injectors
On my dad's Solara, it cost him 2500 at a shop to diagnose and fix the car, so if you fix it with the plugs or even the coils call yourself lucky. Injectors are about $350 per injector plus labor.

If it doesn't misfire when above 2500 rpms...just keep it above 2500 rpms on your trip and you should be alright. As long as the engine isnt misfiring for the 60 miles, you should be alright.
damn $350 for one injector? plus labor? ouch.
injectors usually go for about $160/ea and coilpacks go for about $100/ea from Nissan. Labor for the removal of the manifold to access the rear injectors and install them should be about $2-$300. not to mention a small fee in parts to replace the gasket which is about $15-$30.
as for driving around for an extended amount of time, I've done it (a couple thousand miles
), but i'd highly recommend getting it fixed as soon as possible to prevent further damage.
