5speed swap question

In the process of swapping and just wondering if auto and manual speed sensors are interchangeable or if i have to buy another ridiculously marked up part from the dealership :/

Thanks

sorry for the delay in posting, i lost my internet connection for a week
Not sure how to describe it other than that its kind of a plug with a green rotating wheel type of deal at the end. Hard for me to explain. Its basically what tells your speedometer how fasat youre going
I got pics on my phone, will post once i get home. As far as i can tell it doesnt look like it will work but i may be wrong

No it won't work. Last one I bought was under $30 US.

I heard the speed sensors from the auto to the manual ones are different.

Well on the other hand do you have a code for p/n switch (1003) cause I do after I did the swap and I have emissions soon. Anyone any ideas?

It'll fit physically, but supposedly it throws the actual MPH (as opposed to indicated) off.

Heres the pic of the auto speed sensor. it does fit flush in the manual tranny but from what i can tell it doesnt make contact with whatever spins inside there.

I'm not done yet with the swap.. all i have left is to drill and mount the clutch pedal and then run all the hydraulic lines to wherever theyre supposed to go.
But i do have a question about that 3/4 inch spacer that apperantly is very important: I was initially just going to use washers but im not even sure if i can buy this part from nissan. Would anyone happen to have a part number or the name of the part?

Thanks,
Bogdan

You can't buy it from nissan, I tried and they gave me a weird look. I just got a 2 fat nuts (the depth of the nut is about 3/4 maybe little less) and 4big washers with small hole (a hole big enough for the bolt that is suppose to pass through, but small enough so it won't move around as much) I also put a smaller nut inside the big nut so the big nut won't move around as much as just having a big hole nut.

They fit and work just fine (besides the slight MPH problem) in the 5spd, so x2 to nismology.
