cant figure out these 02 sensors
hey so i went to pep boys to buy 02 sensors, and they couldn't figure out which ones i needed.
i have
p0141 - 02 sensor heater fault (bank 1 sensor 2)
p0135 - 02 sensor heater fault (bank 1 sensor 1)
p0155 - 02 sensor heater fault ( bank 2 sensor 1)
do you know the part numbers or how i describe these when i try to buy them. the haynes manual says
p0141 - downstrem left bank
p0155 - upstream left bank
p0135 - upstream right bank
not sure which ones are which. i don't want to buy all 4.

I thought there were only 3. Right and left bank off the engine before the catalytic and then one after the cat. The one after the cat just checks the O2 level to make sure your cat is working properly for emissions, the front 2 sensors actually control how your engine runs, if even one is bad you'll loose throttle response and get bad gas mileage.
I understood from your post that you had 3 error codes, sounds strange that all 3 would die at once, they usually go within a couple years of each other but not at the same time... could something else be wrong that could have destroyed them or is giving a false code. I'd say go to an Autozone or some Auto parts store... most in my area if you go during daylight will do an engine CEL diagnostic for free.

check out this website for oxygen sesor http://www.automedicsupply.com/index...00&height=1050, i replace them in my dad's maxima, i think the ones on the y-pipe are the same and the one after the cat is different then the two.
