Need Help Removing Seats

Need Help Removing Seats

the rear is no problem. however im having trouble on the front seats. i was trying to remove the 14mm bolts on the backside (each seat had 1 going horizontally into the center armrest area, and another bolt going straight down into the floor)

i cant seem to get the bolts off. any tips?

i believe there are 4 bolts in total? 2 front 2 rear?

That's about it. I used a 12" bar and I was fine. I've seen people use impact wrenches too, but that seems a little overkill; they really just take a while because they're fairily long.

moisture can get into your car and may cause a little bit of rust and these bolts haven't ever been touched, i assume, so they will need quite a bit to just break them loose. breaker bar or a longer wrench. just keep trying.

thx for comments. yea i know i could use a breaker bar just didnt wanna buy one. luckily my roomie told me my old roomie left one in our house when he moved. it worked nice. =)

wd-40 as one guy told me at advanced auto parts is as good as pissing on it. pb blaster is better, but regardless i hate using that **** inside because it gets messy and smells.

Even though they are tough to get off the torque specs for putting them back in are only around 42-50ft/lbs.
