a/c problem update

Changed compressor, evaporator and dryer last year, but the AC died again.

Pull out the A/C fuse in the passenger side engine bay, re-insert it back. The A/C works again.

This old car has a lot of small problems.

a/c problems

I too had problems with my a/c fan.

I could hear the compressor kicking on, but the fan would not work. I deduced that it was a short in the electrical system (worked when I replaced cigarette fuse).

Trouble is, I'm now having the same problem (just as summer is approaching...no doubt). I'll keep messing with the fuses unless anybody else has any ideas?

well keep in mind, even in the winter its importent to turn the A/C on every now n then. otherwise components may start to go bad from no usage.
