Read this for a chuckle

So im on ebay looking at maximas, i come across one thats decently cheap but its beat. im reading along about this "Deceptively quick" maxima. it says its packing a Infinity Q45 motor. amazing. a RWD v8 in a maxima. funny. they only want 1600. lol.

This is a Q45 engine. that fits where?

Yeah i heard that the Q45 along with the drive train bolts right into the max, no cutting, welding, or custom fab!

Oh and the Q45 looks just like the VQ30DE!!!!

maybe he meant I30 engine????

thousands of dollars in modification. wow i never knew an intake +altezza lights + painted dash was considred such expensive mods. its sad to see this type of bs coming from a power seller with a 99.1% feedback. fleaby it sure is.

this is the latest email :

"WTF are you talking about?? Yes it is a stock engine. From and I35. Where do you get you information from???? The only difference in engines is the cover on the top. I decided to use the maxima plate since it's a maxima engine, and it was red and matched the intake. Now why don't you...since youre so smart, and we are so stupid.....educate us. I can even give you the name of the shop and mechanic if you want to feel like a complete dumb ****.
This is a business..... would we really be trying to "rob" people when we have 5500 times your feedback???? think about it, and get back to me with your ignorant **** talking. Ill be here."

funny 3.0 covers dont fit on 3.5 covers. let alone magically appear to be a 3.0 while still being 3.5. lolerz.

i sent him a while thing back about q45s and i35s and maximas, took me a while to type up but he cant talk **** anymore. i've got him pinned. he thinks the i30 engine that was put in it is a an i35. he thinks nissan and infinity are different companies. i showed him pictures from both cars engine bays :O same engine ! whoda thunk?

HE APPOLAGIZED!!!!!!!!

"I can appreciate your informed educated information. I apologize for being so brutal. I just went off of what my mechanic told me. It obviously must be an I30. It was an honest mistake of ours to put the wrong model number. An informed educated comment is much more welcome then throwing slanderous accusations at a reputable business. I appreciate the information.

Thanks,
AuctionYard"

wow. evil ebayer turned good

i do my deeds one person at a time

oh this is the ebay listing now lolz

On Apr-23-07 at 15:12:24 PDT, seller added the following information:

NOTE engine swap was I35 -and actual mmilage is in listing not correct in prefill

On Apr-24-07 at 06:54:22 PDT, seller added the following information:

I HAVE HAD A FEW PEOPLE QUESTIONING ME ABOUT THE ENGINE SWAP....IT WAS FROM AN I35 NOT A Q45. OUR MISTAKE. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WAS THE PLATE THAT GOES ON TOP. SINCE IT MATCHED THE RED INAKE, AND SAYS MAXIMA, WE PUT THE OLD PLATE ON THE NEW ENGINE. I CAN EVEN PROVIDE NAME AND NUMBER OF MECHANIC IF THERE ARE QUESTIONS OR DOUBTS REGARDING THIS.

On Apr-24-07 at 09:23:48 PDT, seller added the following information:

Correction. Engine is an from an Infinity I30, not a I35.
