So last night I had a few hefty girls in my car, and when I saw my rear tires this morning the side walls were all cut up from hitting the fender! Man, I was so pissed. How can I roll that up without messing the paint up? The paint will just crack and fall off if I try bending right?

hah. at any rate, yes bending it will crack the paint. this happened on my se-r one time. but the only piece that took the damage was the tire, but i did end up rolling the fenders after using a eastwood fender rolling tool. but yes just 'bending it' will mess up the car.

Get the chicks to jump on the back of your car and let the tires roll them for you

Wow must have been some weight in there! I have had three guys pushing 300lbs and myself at 250 and i have never had a problem like that. Performance and stopping power is seriously effected though!

 

same thing happen to me last week lol... i had my sister and 3 of her friends in the back seat and my think cousin in the front and my tire kept on rubbing after a whole evening of mall hopping my tires walls were all threaded up...lol there was long rubber threads hanging all over my tire an dmy fenders are already rolled....... that max sure feels good with a nice load and pulls good to.

 

lol yeah, sisters and their friends... i was thinking about cutting a rung or two off of the springs to make the tires tuck a little bit more, but after this i'm not too sure about that... lol i'll take my moms car next time she wants me to tote around my sisters...

Rent or buy a fender rolling tool. Eastwood has one, so does Tire Rack.

 

It won't crack if you do it the right way. Heat up the paint with a heat gun and then roll it with a fender rolling too, like the Eastwood one.

 

why would you put that big of rims on a max anyway?

 

IMO let the tire-shredding be a motivator for you to "up your game".

are you lowered??? I have 2 in gap in front n back. Put 5 in the back n 1 in the front one night to the city. No rubbing at all. I'm on 18's. But then again, my springs are 9/7 so they're pretty damn stiff. But wow, dude....thats just funny as hell...roflmao

 

Yeah I'm lowered 2" on 350z 17s. The offset is really high on the rears so they stick out a bit.

holy crap. those chicks must be like the size of the nutty professor. i had 3 guys about 200-250 each in the back and a whole trunk full of luggage and it was good. only down side was needing a lot of power to pull the car.

It has come to the attention of my office that you enjoy spending time with gentelmen who drive Maximas. As a Maxima driver i must say, we appreciate the favor you have shown us. To an extent. While some of us maxima drivers like a lady with a little extra lovin (I myself included) it is not to say that we are all "chubby chasers" Our vehicles, while desgind to fit 5 adults with comfort, is not desgined to fit 5 of YOU!

I write this letter in response to the damage you and some of your fellow HERD have caused to a members car. If in the future you feel like you would like to share some quality time with someone who drives a Nissan, might i suggest owners of some of the other fine vehicles that nissan has to offer. for instance the spacious and roomy Quest, or the luxourious pathfinder Armada, but i think the vehicle that would best suit your needs is the tough and rugged Nissan Titan with its 9000 lb towing capacity its got plenty of power to haul you and your FAT A$$ friends around town.

In short stay away from Maximas, think of them as reaching your toes; getting close to them would bring you great joy but you'll only hurt yourself and others in the processes.
