Good Deal?

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true
What do you guys think a good price would be for this car? Also, how loaded up is that Maxima, does it have everything that was available besides leather or is it the lowest end they released in 99? Obviously $8k is WAY to steep, I was thinking $6k would be a fair asking price because it does have low miles for that year.

The guy will most likely laugh in your face if you offer $6,000. www.kbb.com take 5 minutes and educate yourself. The private party value is between $7,500 and $8,000, depending on the condition it's really in.

no it's not the lowest end. I'm confused on the se-l but no leather. You won't get him to drop the price for private seller. GL with it.

Really oddly optioned car. Bose, but manual climate. Sunroof, but no leather.

My father's old 95 SE had Bose and a manual climate. Seats were cloth, but were heated too.

KBB isn't known to have the most realistic numbers so I thought I would have a better shot at asking you guys since you know the car so well. I've heard people here getting these cars for $5k so I thought 6 wouldn't be too bad but I guess not. I'd prefer leather and climate. Actually , mainly just leather and heated seats, I don't care too much about climate.
