snapped lug stud... what's to be done?

One of the lug nuts on my right rear wheel was cross threaded apparently I went to remove the nut by brute force since the nut was not touching the wheel and therefore not doing anything anyway... and snap!
I have a broken lug stud.
So here is my question. Looking at the FSM, the front lug studs are definitely separate pieces from the wheel hub. I can't tell if the rear lug studs are also separate or part of the whole hub assembly and non-replaceable. Meaning that I'll have to replace the entire hub assembly.

Anyone know?

If I can replace the stud, any good techniques for getting the old one out?

thanks.

I dont see why it wouldnt be like the front, get under your car and take a look.

To replace a broken stud;

1. remove caliper.
2. remove rotor.
3. hammer out broken stud.
4. put new stud in and tap it a little so it will stay in place.
5. put some washers on the new stud, I just use my rotor.
6. use impact gun or breaker bar and start screwing a lug nut onto the stud to pull it into the hub.
7. put everything back on.

A good set of spacers will come with its own set of longer studs, buying them now would be a waste.
