Again, until you've tried my mod, you can't compare.

The engine isn't built for 'low end'. Think about an RX-8, they dont have any power until 7.5k. No one complains about them not having any low end torque. Get a straight six if you want torque.

I guess you have never read or watched any comparison shootouts between Supras, RX-8s, 350Zs, Evos, etc. The reviewers all rave about how smooth the rotary engine is but they all comment on how it is severely lacking in get-up-and-go unless you keep the revs up.

Please show me where in the equation for calculating engine torque is the term for cylinder configuration.

Engine smoothness yes, engine torque no.

I don't think a single thing said in this post isn't completely retarded.

Check out my dyno below, when I added a 2.5" exhaust it shifted the torque curve... lower lowend torque BUT that should help off the line as I don't spin up so much and shifts it in to the 3000 more useable rpm range.

Greenline is pre-exhaust.

Tell who? My mod doesn't involve telling anyone anything.

I was looking for the same thing (lowend torque) so i put in the CAI and the Y-Pipe. Now my motor sounds like a lawn mower when i punch it, is that normal?

I'm sure it doesn't sound like a lawn mower. Should have more sound because of them together but it should have a good sound.

if by lawn mower you mean "not high revving motorcycle" then it very well may be comparable to a lawnmower... exhaust/intake/engine sound is greatly subjective, and many people have their preferences or their "ideal" engine sounds in their heads.

I just did a maf adapter and cone filter, and it sounds great, and not too growly and loud because it has a heatshield that does some sound control. I digress though, and as mentioned for the umpteenth time, the "power" aka "the sound" is around 3500 exactly and up
