After much careful thought, I finally decided what my next car is going to be. Once I pay my car off (about 1-2 years), I will sell it and buy another '97-'99 Maxima.

This time, I'm going to do it the right way. I'm gonna get me a 5-speed...and I'm gonna get Super Black w/ Black Leather which, IMHO, is the best looking Max. Plus, this is what I originally wanted, but settled for my Deep Evergreen. Another plus is the fact that all my mods can be transferred over to the new one!

Just thought I'd share!

Yeah I feel in love with my max when I went to the Nissan dealership. It was the only one there like it Super black with Black leather and 5-speed. I got my max 6-7 months ago.

In 1-2 years it would be a better idea to get 6-speed '02 maxima.

That's crazy. When I bought my 97 Deep Evergreen GXE I was actually looking for a black on black SE. Somehow I ended up getting the GXE. Oh well. Next car will be an LS400 though

I'd agree with the s-blk 5-spd. In 95, I was so disappointed that they had no blk 5-spd at the dealer other than one fully loaded wallet burner. They did have a emerald green one that almost looked blk but the dash was brown! No way was I driving a max with a brown dash. Luckily as I shook hands with the salesman, a truck pulls up in front with a bunch of new maximas. Salesman tells me to hold on and checks the blk ones for options--and one of them was it! Took that baby home--almost meant to be... Dealer had checked inventories for all neighboring dealers and none of them had exactly what I wanted except for this new shipment...

Thanks man. I payed $700 for the seats, leather door inserts, perforation and installation kit. Installed it myself, took me about 10 hours.

It's not that hard, just time consuming. It would've been much faster if someone was helping me.
