Intakes
Me Too
I'm glad you asked that question cause I am going to be looking into buying one shortly as well. I'm really looking for the one that requires the least amount of modifications to the car itself other than removing the factory air compartment. In essence, I don't want to be drilling any holes if I can help it.
The best performance gain will be with a cold air intake (CAI). Up until a few months ago, The Place Racing was the only people making one. They are available from Cattman Performance for ~$250. You do have to cut a 3" hole in the inner fender well to install it. Warpspeed is now marketing one, so I suspect that the prices will be dropping.
For about 1/2 the H.P. gain, you can go with a pop charger from either Stillen or Jim Wolf.

They are selling Cone shaped performance filters on ebay for around 54 bucks. Thats what I got myne for. GREAT ! Makes your max sound like a v-8. I dont notice too much more quickness, but that's proly w/ all the filters...Now for the Drawbacks...Doesnt fit perfectly. Doesnt match up to the 4 holes, so I had to screw in top left, and bottom right only...but trust me this baby aint goin anywhere.
And as with all replacement filters you have to go get your temp. sensor re-set. Not a problem.
Hope this helps. PEACE
