ok... this isn't my problem but its a guy i know and asked me if i could help so here is whats wrong

The fluid's fine, First thing I did when I noticed problems in the tranny was change the fluid which wasn’t that bad.

When its cold and overdrive is on, it will not downshift from 2nd to first making it stall/die. Therefore, you have to floor it in neutral until it gets out of second then you good to go.

This also happens with overdrive off but due to the rpms higher it dies less but the problem is still there

The day it died 5 times trying to take off from a stop sign I decided it need help ....But no one seems to no what the problem is

Also there’s just under 135,000 KM on the car

I have no clue, definately sounds like an electrical issue rather than mechanical. Id hook it up to an OBII and do some transmission checks, it may come up with somethin.
