So I was doing this...And noticed this...

So I was installing my BBK finally with good end results.

After I get the wheel and old rotor off I glance at the tie rod boot and notice this.

Basically this doesnt make me happy. It is basically a brand new ES bushing with like 2-3k on it. Now I have to go spend more money for a bushing that got ripped out somehow. Anyone know how this would happen? I had noticed a lil squeak but now it a loud squeak I guess cause I know what it is now and pay attention to it.

I really cant say I know the control arms are straight when it on the ground. I had a 2.2" drop and then raised it up to get the control arms straight so I dunno.

I've heard of this happening, but not that soon, it also looks like they were installed correctly with the cut to the front. I just installed mine, it looks like I'll have to keep a close eye on them.

Don't use them. Get OEM ones, few of us have found out the es ones are too big the hard way(like you) so just get new oem ones.

What kind of difference will there be with the OEM vs the ES?

Oh thanks. I never did really compare the sizes of the 2 but I think I still have 1 of the OEM bushing outside since the other was ripped.

Well actually the ripped one was on the same side this one is so maybe something is becoming binded?

Will there be any type of difference in driving I would notice using OEM vs ES?

If there is a difference it will be minimal. Nothing major.
