The stock chrome exhaust finisher is actually clamped on. If you look into it you will see this. To get it off, take a screwdriver are pry off the clamps from the actual tailpipe. Then knock it off with a rubber hammer (if you use a metal one it will be ruined. Lots of aftermarket ones do screw on, but can also be clamped on (method of choice). The advantage to clamping is that some Honda boy can't fly by, grab it and stick it on their car. If you have an aftermarker exhaust (which given you dont), you can weld it on, seeing that you most likely won't replace it. I would suggest you take your car to a gas station (dont need to go to a special aftermaker auto place) and tell them you want it clamped on there. Just trying to help.
