power steering fluid capacity?

what is the power steering system fluid capacity? I have used a turkey baster 4 times now to suck out the atf out of the reservoir and then refilled with MObil1 ATF synthetic. I wanted to know how many more drains and refills it would take for the whole system to have relatively new fluid?

Thanks

P.S. I have tried looking on the amsoil site and the owners manual for the power steering fluid capacity but the info is not there.

I had a completely dry system, other than the front cooler, and I used a bit less than a Qt of Mobil One ATF

heres what ya do....take off the pressure hose at the rack, turn the car on and turn the car lock to lock 5 times...reconnect it and fill it up and bleed out the system...if its that important to you.

thanks for the replies. I'd prefer not to disconect the hose and do a drain and refill a few more times from the reservoir for it to dillute closer to 100% mobil1 synthetic atf.

The manual does not state the exact capacity of that resevoir, but u should do it this way its so easy:

i had a problem with my cooler -- well it was simply not connected

disconnect the hoses

i ate salad out of that container like 30 minutes before i did this (i had to finish the salad quick time i had no other container ;-)

and then reconnect and refill, do this ever 100KM for like 5 times and you should be good for another 3 years
and here is the finished product

not to hijack the thread, but can someone point out which hose is the PS return line? Nissan told me that mine was leaking (good ole 100 point inspection), just wondering which one it is and if it's easily replaceable.

the cheapest dexron 3 ATF i could find (wallmart's tech3000 or sometihng like that) thats what the manual calls for, its all the same, no need for synthetic for power steering i can bet $1 000 000 that u will never see and feel any difference.
