how do i get to my foglights?

I have a 97 maxima and one of my fog lights is either burnt or has a loose connection. Does anyone have a how-to for fog lights?
I want to take it out to see if its burnt or so.

in the 95-96's theres a reflector tab next to the fog light... you have to press on it... and get it to unclip... onces its off... theres a screw behind it. Once you unscrew it, the foglight should come off... you might have to wiggle it out... but you will be able to pull it out.. and then of course they'll be a harness, unclip the harness and you can then pull out foglight out... Hopefully it somewhat the same with 97's and up

check your owner's manual, it's in there. there's a phillips head screw on a plastic cover and two 10mm bolts holding the actual light in. easy.

isnt there like a little metal clip in the housing... you have to un hinge it... and I think the bulb is a twist out kinda of thing deal (mybad I forgot if there where any more screws to undo... not sure if it was to remove the fog or the bracket)

Push down on the red, and slide it away to release the clip.

ok, another type of question. Forgive me if im asking something tooo noobish, but the BULB itself wont come out, it is like attached to the white cord. Im pulling the bulb out but it just wont come out due to the fact it is stuck to this wire. anyone have an idea?

when you unclip that little metal piece that was circled in red above the bulb should pop right out. it should also still be connected to that white wire because it's all one piece. the bulb/wire plug in where you see that little plastic slip cover along the wire. if the bulb doesn't come right out you might need to take a tiny screwdriver to loosen it, but once it's unclipped you should just be able to hold the foglight and pull on that white woven piece to get it out.

it is connected to a wired coming from the white protective wrap. Also, the wire is connected to a spring like structure. any ideaS?

slide that protective woven tubing down. underneath this tube is where the wire that connects the fog light to the plug. essentially, the foglight bulb is the male end and the wiring harness is the female end. The foglight bulb does not look like your typical headlight bulb with a huge pluge at the end of it. this thin wire that is at the end of your bulb is the wiring harness. hope this made sense.

check out this picture to see what the bulb connection actually looks like:
