HELP!! Exhaust noise and question, Apexi
Well I havent been around here for a long time... Probablly at least 3 years since my last post. Question... I have an Apexi WS exhaust on my car with a warpspeed Y and Cat. Just since sunday I have noticied a really bad rattling in my exhaust. Mostly from 1500 - 2200 RPMs then again at 3000. It started happening when I was autoXing on sunday.
I believe it is the muffler but not 100% sure. My question would be do you think I could fit my old stock muffler back on the exhaust? I dont remember the exact size of the stock muffler or of my piping now but wondering if i need to, could it be done?
Also any other tips on trying to figure out what the noise is from?? I have another autoX this coming weekend and need to figure something out ASAP.
Thanks!!

I'd say its the muffler too .. if you can remove muffler give it a shake if it rattles or dust comes out - muffler=toast.
Surely you could decide between those 2 Ypipe hanger and muffler are at opposite ends of the car... rev it in neutral get someone to stick there head under there

It's not like I told him to buy a new hanger. I was just suggesting it could be the problem.
